*Συνεύρεση (syneuresis) in Greek means:
- getting/ bringing together
- gathering
- meeting
- commingling
- interrelation
- in relationship
- encounter
The act of collecting as a means of expression and the collection as an artistic act.
The collections consist of all kinds of found objects. Each collection, depending on its content, touches on different topics.
The resulting works are ephemeral compositions and assemblages of these objects.
1. A museum-like, classification approach where the objects of the same class are put in order one after the other.
2. Sometimes dissimilar elements are placed together implying new, invisible, connections.
3. Other times the placement can be instinctive creating peculiar relationships and complexes. A naration is created.
Visitors will also be given the opportunity to play with the collections and create their own compositions.
